I'm not sure about her, but I had an excellent time.
(A 17-year-old can sometimes be finicky,
and apparently, the things a 25-year-old enjoys is not as cool as I might like to think.)
Anyway, our week was full of wonderful-ness.
purple polish pedicures
Kelsey picked pink polish
semi-sweet chocolate cupcakes
with vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate icing
multiple attempts to shoot a handgun
the gun range caught on fire
shopping, shopping, shopping
which included the purchase of a prom dress
buying gifts for our soon-to-be nurse/sister-in-law
she'll thank us now and hate us later when we call her nonstop:
"why does my foot/arm/head/finger/nose/face/back/big toe hurt?"
dipping our toes in the gulf
lots of discussions about whether sharks or octopuses live in texas/oklahoma lakes
eating out for practically every meal
most of these restaurants are located in old houses
with tiny bathrooms that have broken and/or confusing locks
taking a pottery class
we each made a bowl-esce shape to hold candy
It was nice to spend time with my little sister.
I don't get to see her as often as I'd like.
(Last time I saw her was Thanksgiving.)
Now that Spring Break is almost over it's back to reality.
Until Wednesday... Blake's 25th Birthday/Trip to Fort Worth & Dallas!
What a fabulous week with the sis! I wish I had one! :) xo
