Scary? Yep.
It makes for a great conversation starter though.
Here's what happened...
I was getting ready for the day.
I turned on the hair dryer.
A shower of sparks flew into the air (and a few went into my hair).
Reenactment picture could not be taken out of fear for life.
"What was that?"

My hair dryer tried to kill me yesterday.
I may or may not have
nightmares tonight about this.
It's scary stuff.

I can totally empathize, that happened to me almost 2 years ago!!! My hairdryer cord split right where yours did, the sparks burned a ton of little holes through my shirt and a couple burned through to my stomach. My poor dad was in the next room and thought I was on fire with all of the yelling I was doing... Bottom line, hairdryers can kill!
