Life Lately

Lately there has been a lot of sleep...
I'm pretty sure that we are heading through a growth spurt (or maybe I'm just really boring!)
Even with all the napping, we've still managed to explore.

Over the past couple of weeks we've been busy with test runs of getting out of the house.
I'm gonna go stir crazy if I have to stay in this apartment much longer.
Remember, I've been stuck here before and since the twins arrived for bed rest, etc.

Last Tuesday, we went to visit Daddy at work and had lunch with him and a few friends.

This past weekend we went to visit Grandma and Pawpaw Rick.
Aunt Erica and Uncle Jonathan met us there for the weekend, and my dad visited for a couple of hours.

The babies were definitely spoiled by dozen of hands holding them throughout the day and lots of attention during "tummy time".

We took the twins to Grapevine,
walking around the main street,
going into a few shops,
grabbing a wine-a-rita for the grown-ups.
There's truly nothing that says "I'm an awesome parent" than an alcoholic beverage in the cup holder of your children's stroller.
Other Notes of Interest
1. Samantha and Easton love to watch me cook/bake/clean.
2. Samantha's favorite thing is watching me wipe down the shower's glass doors after I've showered.
3. Easton rolled over for the first time two Sunday's ago, and now he's a pro like his sister (who's been rolling over since she turned two months).
4. I just ordered the babies' baptism outfits... December 18th is the big day!
5. All of the diaper bag's materials, car seats, and stroller have been labeled as the property of "The Bastin Family" in preparation for church this Sunday.
6. Fall decorating begins on Saturday!
7. Samantha and Easton are HUGE fans of the Beatles and Bon Jovi. It's weird, I know.
